    At Team CrossFit, we utilize CrossFit as our primary training method, and focus our students on optimizing physical competence in each of 10 recognized fitness domains (Cardio-respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.) The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. By this training, our goal is not to make you look good in your bikini although that will be a positive by-product of your hard work, our goal is to provide you with the necessary tools and the coaching to achieve elite fitness. To feel great, look great, and live great.


    OUR DIFFERENCE

    At our workouts, you won't be sitting, laying, standing, or any other position in a big bulky machine to only "curl" your Hamstrings, or workout on your triceps.  You won't be taking a slow run on a treadmill while watching the local news on a TV. You won't be standing around alone in a crowded gym where everyone is ignoring each other because of the environment and the mentality of a big commercial (Globo) gym.  Our workouts are meant to work your entire body from head to toe and our workouts are meant to test and push you to your potential. We encourage the "group dynamic" where friendly competition and camaraderie combine to elicit extra effort, intensity and accountability.  Most of all, WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN AND WANT TO COME AND WORKOUT EVERYDAY!!

    Our Classes are also designed to be small and personal.  We believe in personal coaching of our ATHLETES (yes, you will become one).  We believe in quality over quantity and therefore we will always limit the size of our classes so that each and every member receives what they paid for and what they expect which is personal coaching to help you reach your goal.

     

    COACHING vs. PERSONAL TRAINING

    When you become our member, you are NOT a faceless person in a big gym.  We are not typical "Personal Trainers" leading you through endless counts of exercises without education.  Here at Team CrossFit, we are Coaches that help and teach what you need to know in order for you to reach your goal.  We want you to think, learn, and understand the program and what we are asking you to do since YOU are ultimately responsible for your health and  fitness.

     

    WHAT IS FITNESS?

    We all want to be fit, but do you know what being fit means? Have you asked your current gym or your current trainer "what is your standard or definition of fitness?". If you are paying your hard-earned money to a gym or a trainer that has the name or a title of "24 hour fitness" or a "fitness trainer", should they be able to give you a clear standard or a definition of what they consider to be fitness?  DAMN RIGHT THEY SHOULD!  But I bet if you ask them, they don't have an answer or they will give you some general gibberish off the top of their head.  

    At Team CrossFit, the word FITNESS has a clear standard and definition.  We know what fitness is and therefore we can help you reach that goal of being fit.  For more information, check out this article by CrossFit Journal titled, "What is Fitness?". After you read it, ask yourself if your current workout program/gym/trainer offers everything you need for you to reach your goal of being fit.
