If this is the year for you to change your fitness, your health, and your life for the better, this is what you have been waiting for: An 8-week challenge that is guaranteed to change how you look and how you feel in a BIG way! This includes a two-part competitive event that gives everyone a chance to see measurable results over an 8-week period. This challenge will include both body composition and physical fitness components for an overall extreme makeover of yourself. This 8-week challenge is guaranteed to work IF YOU DO THE WORK! There’s no fancy gimmick or magic pills we are selling. This 8-week is time for you to prove to yourself that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to and that you ARE worth everything that you want and desire for yourself. All it takes is your commitment!</p>

<h2>8-WEEK PHYSICAL + NUTRITION  CHALLENGE</h2>
<p>There’s 2 parts. Part A) body composition/diet, Part B) physical fitness.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Part A: Body composition / Nutrtion challenge</strong> – You will be weighed-in, measured with pictures at the start and at the end of the challenge. The person with the highest % lost is the winner.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Part B: physical fitness challenge</strong> &#8211;  At the &#8220;PRELIMS&#8221; you&#8217;ll complete the workout as fast as possible. Exactly 8-WEEKS later, we come back and battle it out awarding PRIZES FOR FASTEST TIME AND MOST IMPROVED in each division. (BTW &#8211; at the FINALS you&#8217;ll be ranked and placed in heats accordingly so, if you sandbag it at the PRELIMS you will look like an A$$). The physical challenge portion will have beginner through advanced divisions so that ANYONE can participate.</p>

<li>Weekly check-in (your personal Coach will check your food log, etc to keep you accountable!)</li>
<li>Start check in – Week of 23rd</li>
<li>Prelim physical challenge &#8211; January 28th 2012 at 10am</li>
<li>End check in – March 24th at starting at 9:30am &#8211; 11:30am</li>
<li>Final physical challenge – March 24th 2012 at 10am</li>

<h2>MORE DETAILS FOR THE UPCOMING START OF THE CHALLENGE</h2>
<ul>
<li>For the Nutritional check in (get measured, weighed, and the before pics), you can schedule a time with your personal coach between 23rd- 27th. Communicate directly with your personal Coach.  Please plan on wearing the SAME clothing for the beginning and the ending check-ins.  You can strip down as much as you feel comfortable in front of your Coach and for picture <img src='http://www.teamcrossfit.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </li>
<li>Your personal Coach is also the person that will check your food log, answer any questions, help you with any problems, etc.</li>
<li>For your food log, you MUST use the following forum.  Create an account ASAP with your first name and last initial.  Please don&#8217;t use weird screen names since the Coaches need to know who they are looking at - <a href="http://teamcrossfit.myfastforum.org/" target="_blank">http://teamcrossfit.myfastforum.org/</a></li>
<li>Please attend the FREE nutritional workshop on the 29th @ 10:30am so that you know what to do and how to eat!</li>
<li>For the physical challenge, we will assign each of you partners and heat assignments.  Everyone must come by 10am start time to get all the instructions, rules, etc</li>
<li>We expect everyone to do their best and give 110% for this prelim event.  If you sandbag this workout just so that you can have a greater % of improvement at the end, we will have certain measurements that will detect it and you will look like a JACK ASS!  Please give it your all and really work hard in the next 8 weeks and show yourself and everyone what you have accomplished</li>
<li>The final event on March 24th will end with a big BBQ so please invite your family, friends, etc!  We will have  food, drinks, etc (you can of course invite them to the prelim event too)!!</li>
<li>If you can not attend the prelim, we will give you a make up day AFTER the 28th but please use this as your last resort.  This event is meant to be a community event!</li>
<li>The nutritional challenge portion will be decide by average % lost from the start to finish</li>
<li>The physical challenge portion will be decide by the time of the final event (most improved will be the difference between the prelim and final)</li>

<p>NEW YORK, NY, December 14, 2011 &#8212; Team Crossfit + Krav Maga has been selected for the 2011 Best of Woodland Hills Award in the Health Clubs &amp; Gymnasiums category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).</p>
<p>The USCA &#8220;Best of Local Business&#8221; Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. <p style="text-align: justify;">Team CrossFit offers a constantly motivating and challenging environment by utilizing a &#8220;level&#8221; system.  By doing so, all members are encouraged and driven to always set goals, commit and dedicate to  achieving those goals and higher levels so that you can always challenge yourself, improve, and be better than you were yesterday!  To help you achieve these goals, Team CrossFit provides regularly scheduled level specific &#8220;skill&#8221; workshops and seminars along with video tutorials.  Please note that NO ONE IS REQUIRED to take the workshops, the tests or go up with levels.  Anyone can stay at Level 1 as long as they want.</p>

<h1><span style="font-size: 26px; font-weight: bold;">CROSSFIT LEVELS</span></h1>
<p>Every athlete (yes you) is assigned to a &#8220;level&#8221;. In order to achieve the next level, you must successfully perform the movements and the workout on a scheduled test day.</p>
<h2><strong>LEVEL 1: BEGINNER</strong></h2>
<div>Anyone and everyone.  When you become a new member, you are automatically a level 1 athlete.</div>

<h2><strong>LEVEL 2:  INTERMEDIATE</strong></h2>
<div>A level 2 athlete must demonstrate technical proficiency at the major movements most frequently performed in CrossFit workouts, and must be able to perform each of the below movements without assistance. This includes:</div>

<h1>F.A.Q.</h1>

<li>ALL THIS IS OPTIONAL!  NO ONE IS REQUIRED TO GO UP IN LEVELS.  If you  don&#8217;t care about achieving a higher level, you don&#8217;t have to do  anything.  You will still get a kick ass workout every time just like  right now</li>
<li>If I don&#8217;t go up in level, how will that effect my class schedule? &#8211; As  of now, nothing will change.  Only thing we are adding in to our current  structure is an Intermediate/Advance skill that this level members will  work on during the class time before the WOD.   Once we expand our  physical location, we will have different level classes.  Even with the  separated classes, there will be plenty of &#8220;mixed&#8221; level classes in the  schedule for everyone to attend</li>
<li>Am I required to take the workshops or the test? &#8211; Nope.  You don&#8217;t have to take the workshop to take the test.  You don&#8217;t even have to take the test if you don&#8217;t care about being in a higher level</li>
<li>Can I pick and choose which workshop to take? &#8211; Yes</li>
<li>What  is the advantage of taking the workshop? &#8211; If you feel like you need  extra instruction on a particular movement(s), the workshop will be a  great place to get detailed coaching.  You will also get the chance to  do Fight Gone Bad WOD as a prep before your test</li>
<li>Can  I just come and do FGB? &#8211; You can but you still need to register and  pay for the workshop because we need to know how many people are  participating</li>
<li>What happens if I fail the test? &#8211; If you failed a perticular movement, you will just have to make up (show us) that movement on another day.  If you didn&#8217;t make the FGB score, you will have to perform the WOD again on a workshop day</li>
<li>How often are the workshops and tests? &#8211; Test will be every quarter (4 month) and workshops every month</li>
<li>What if I don&#8217;t want to wait 4 month for the next test? &#8211; You can pay for a private test.  Cost is $95</li>
